A word from the Managing Director
My dream of becoming a doctor began when I was a child, long before I understood what was involved. I have been a pediatrician for over thirty-five years, children hold a special place in my heart and I am filled with joyful whenever I hold one.
They say if you do what you love, work will never feel like work. Indeed, that has been my experience for the past three decades of private practice. I have always had a burning love and desire for children and always rush to their aid out of instinct. My passion for children and medicine is beyond words, a calling that came at a very early age, even before I knew any pediatrician or what they did, but I wanted to protect and heal children, and prevent them from suffering. By God`s grace I have been able to realize this goal.
One of my goals as a sole proprietor since I started my private practice over 25 years ago is to ensure comfortable working conditions for all my staff members. Hence ensuring staff are catered for to the best of my ability.
As a seasoned partitioner, I enjoy sharing my knowledge with future generations especially in the realm of medical ethics. I believe it is important to always follow what is right and in conformity with one’s values and principles. So often I find that the moral fabric of our society leaves a lot to be desired. I have thus taken it upon myself to offer as much guidance and support to the practitioners of tomorrow that are under my stewardship today.
As I reflect on the years, I am truly gratefully to the lord that has led me on this remarkable journey. My family for the love and support offered to me especially during the long shifts away from home due to work. Last but not least to the staff of St. Catherine’s Hospital, now my extended family, you are the bedrock and beating heart of the institution, your devotion to the clients is simply exceptional.
