Theatre & Surgical Services
The facility has two ultra-modern operational theatres, the main at St. Catherine Buganda road, our theaters are well designed and equipped to handle the following types of surgeries: Orthopedics, Plastic Surgeries, Neural and General Surgeries, delivery operations such as C-Sections.
The Department of Surgery at St. Catherine’s Hospital is highly regarded nationally and consists of surgeons who are recognized for their clinical expertise and academic achievements. Our team provides exceptional surgical care for adults and children across a wide spectrum of surgery and surgical specialties. St. Catherines’ surgeons are also educators who serve as faculty members of the vast numbers of Schools of Medicine in Uganda.

Physiotherapy
Open Monday through Saturday, our physiotherapy department has all the amenities required to handle various conditions such as: stroke, cerebral palsy, fractures, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, sports injuries, to mention, but a few. We do also have equipment that can be used for antenatal and postnatal exercises.
We are at the forefront of cardiac care, providing a full range of services and employing a true multidisciplinary team approach to result in excellent patient outcomes.
Obstetrics And Gynaecology
Our Obstetrics and gynecology department located in the newest extension of our facility , accessible from Lumumba Avenue, offers the following services: Pre-conception counselling, Antenatal care, labor and delivery services, family planning, investigating and management of treatment for infertility, Cancer Screening Services, Urogynecology Services (Fistula, Urine &Faeces), Surgery for management of menstrual disorders, fibroids, pelvic masses and other structural abnormalities of the female reproductive system.
